Cyber Security Password and Information Security
Cyber criminals use stolen credentials to distribute malware, so it is important to establish password security best practises. A password protects your device and data against unauthorised access. Good information security prevents unauthorised access, use, disclosure, disruption, alteration, inspection, recording, or destruction. Your company’s information assets will vary, but the data will be valuable in several ways; some will be essential to operations e.g. customer records, while others may represent a large investment over many years e.g. intellectual property.
