Commercial X-Ray
The commercial X-ray program is designed to be used by professional security officers screening visitors to
- Government buildings
- Prison visitors
- Hotel guests
- Schools
- Banks
- Other buildings considered a target or a potential target
The security officer detects and identifies various prohibited items, such as:
- Improvised Explosive Devices (IED)
- Improvised Incendiary Devices (IID)
- Knives/Machete’s
- Handguns/Weapons of War
- Hand Grenades
- Ammunition
- Dangerous Live Animals
The program has three (3) levels of expertise, each increasing in difficulty.
Scotland's Parliament Building (UK) Airports all use this program to screen all visitors, including Elected members.
This gives extra protection and comfort to those working or visiting the building.
